Very nice large perennial that attracts many pollinators and looks great in the landscape as a background plant. Great for wet areas of a Rain Garden or wet ditches.

Asclepias incarnata, Rose Milkweed, is also commonly called Red Milkweed, Marsh Milkweed, or Swamp Milkweed.  Rose pink flowers have vanilla fragrance. Grown best in moist but will tolerate average soils, and blooms for about a month mid-summer. Large numbers of Rose Milkweed can often be seen growing in wetland settings.
